Thank You Ginger and Charlotte for hosting this most Inspirational Sunday Blog..
May it Inspire many through the new week as we all seek~~~
Christ's Presence...
For some reason I have had this song on my mind since yesterday, so here I'm ready to share it with you too. May you know and bask in His Awesome Presence in your coming week Sweet Sisters in Christ.. And please know that I sooooooooooooooooo
cherish your notes on this or any day.. They always bless me and touch my heart...
"Go Tell It On The Mountain"
Go, tell it on the mountain,
Over the hills and everywhere
Go, tell it on the mountain,
That Jesus Christ is born.
While shepherds kept their watching
Over silent flocks by night
Behold throughout the heavens
There shone a holy light.
The shepherds feared and trembled,
When lo! above the earth,
Rang out the angels chorus
That hailed the Savior’s birth.
Down in a lowly manger
The humble Christ was born
And God sent us salvation
That blessèd Christmas morn.
Here is the Marvelous Mahalia Jackson singing
"Go Tell It On The Mountain years back as only she can do it!!!
And for those of you that may wish to have a listen, here's James Taylor's style singing this wonderful old tune, if you have a few minutes do give a listen...
Not sure which Musical Artist you prefer,, but for me, its has to be Mahalia's rendition soooooooo powerful!!!
Love, God's Blessings and Big Hugs to you from me~~~
May the Sweet Lord Jesus hold you near Him as you go through this new week...

We used to sing this song every Christmas at our former church. It's a good song.
ReplyDeleteI am just now visiting your S.S. link and was disappointed when the link did not work. I fixed it but I'm afraid others may have tried to come here and didn't find it.
